The highlight of this package is the visit to Jatayu Earth’s Centre. The huge rock at Chadayamangalam takes its name from the mythical bird Jatayu, from the epic Ramayana. This giant concrete statue of Jatayu is built on a mighty rock named Jatayupura. This colossal statue is 200 feet long, 150 feet wide and 70 feet tall, making it the largest functional bird statue in the world, and hence entered the Guinness Book of World Records. The hilly terrains Jatayu earth center will also offer exciting facilities such as helicopter rides, cable cars, and modern Swiss cable cars. Jatatyu is an embodiment of valor and chivalry to most who believe Ramayana, hence the Jatayu sculpture serves as a towering tribute to women’s safety and honor. It also represents the bygone era when humans, animals, birds and other living forms cared for each other and lived peacefully on earth.
